These Terms & Conditions apply to everyone who visits, skates at, books with, or buys from Skate Waco, INC  DBA Skate Waco, which operates Skate World in Waco and Skate Country (Skate Waco Bellmead) in Bellmead ("Skate Waco," "we," "us"). That includes both of our locations, our website at skatewaco.com, our online store, party and event bookings, skate classes, camps, roller sports programs, and the Skate Truck.

By buying admission, entering either facility, booking an event, or using our website, you agree to these Terms, our Rink Rules, and our Booking Policies. If you are agreeing for a minor, you agree on their behalf and accept responsibility for them.

1. Admission

  • Everyone who enters the building pays general admission, whether they skate or not.

  • Parents or guardians who are not skating may pay the spectator fee of $5, which includes a free soft drink.

  • Hours, session times, prices, and specials are posted on our Hours & Pricing page and may change without notice.

  • We may limit capacity, close a session, or refuse admission when needed for safety or operations.

2. Supervision of Children

Children under 11 must have an adult 18 or older in the building at all times. Parents and guardians are responsible for their children's behavior and safety while at Skate Waco, including in the playground area at our Bellmead location.

3. Assumption of Risk

Roller skating, inline skating, and related activities carry risks that cannot be fully removed, even when everyone follows the rules. These include falls, collisions with other skaters or objects, equipment failure, and injuries ranging from bruises and sprains to broken bones or worse. The same applies to the playground, skate classes, camps, and roller sports programs.

By entering the skating floor or joining any activity, you (and, for a minor, the parent or guardian) accept these risks, agree to skate within your ability, follow the Rink Rules and staff directions, and use equipment that is in good condition. Skate Waco may also require a signed waiver for certain programs, such as roller sports, camps, or private events.

4. Rink Rules and Conduct

Everyone must follow the Rink Rules posted at both locations and on our website. Staff may warn, remove, or ban anyone whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or against the rules. Anyone removed for a rules violation will not receive a refund.

5. Skates and Equipment

  • Quad skates must have toe stops or toe plugs. Inline skates must have all wheels and no protruding axles or bolts.

  • Safety gear must be worn properly and be free of defects that could damage the wood floor.

  • Staff may inspect any personal skates or gear and refuse anything that is unsafe or could damage the floor.

  • Rental skates and skate mates must be returned in the condition they were received. You may be charged for lost or damaged rentals.

6. Parties, Events, and Group Bookings

Birthday parties, private events, adult-only parties, daytime school and daycare groups, and fundraisers are covered by our Booking Policies, which are part of these Terms. They explain deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, guest counts, payment, service fees, decorations, and outside food. Please read the policy for your location and party type before booking.

Online party reservations are handled through our booking partner, PartyWirks. By booking, you agree to the Booking Policies that apply to your party.

7. Purchases, Refunds, and Payments

  • Admission, rentals, snack bar purchases, and passes are non-refundable.

  • Party deposits follow the Booking Policies for your party type.

  • Online store purchases are processed by Square.

  • We accept cash and major credit cards. Personal checks are not accepted.

8. Loyalty Rewards Program

Loyalty points are earned on eligible purchases at both locations and can be redeemed for the rewards listed on our Loyalty Program page. Points and rewards have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and may not be combined with other offers unless stated. We may change the rewards, point values, or program rules, or end the program, at any time. Abuse of the program may result in loss of points.

9. Photos and Video

We, and photographers or media we authorize, may take photos and video at our facilities and events. Anyone on our premises may appear in them. By buying admission or entering the building, you consent to Skate Waco using these images in our marketing, website, and social media without payment. If you would prefer that you or your child not be featured, please tell a staff member or the photographer at the time, and contact us if you see an image you want removed.

10. Food, Drink, and Prohibited Items

Outside food and drinks are not allowed, except as permitted for private parties under our Booking Policies. Food and drinks bought at the snack bar stay in the snack bar area. Gum, glowsticks and glow items, confetti, glitter, silly string, and streamers are not allowed. Tobacco and e-cigarettes may only be used in the designated outdoor smoking area. Alcohol is allowed only with an approved BYOB add-on for private events, and IDs will be checked.

11. Accidents and Injuries

All accidents and injuries must be reported to the front desk before you leave the building so we can document them and help.

12. Lost and Found

We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Found items are held in lost and found for one month, then donated or discarded.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, Skate Waco and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages that result from the inherent risks of skating and related activities, from a guest's failure to follow the rules or staff directions, or from the actions of other guests. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Texas law.

14. Website Use

The content on skatewaco.com, including text, photos, logos, and graphics, belongs to Skate Waco or is used with permission. Please do not copy or reuse it without our written permission. We work to keep hours, prices, and event details accurate, but information can change, and the website is provided as-is. Links to other sites, such as PartyWirks, Square, and social media, are governed by those companies' own terms.

15. Text Message (SMS) Program

Skate Waco, INC DBA Skate Waco offers a text message program for guests who opt in. There are two types of messages, and you choose each one separately:

  • Non-marketing messages: booking and party confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, weather or closure alerts, loyalty account updates, and replies to your questions.

  • Marketing messages: special offers, discounts, event announcements, and promotions.

Consent is optional. You do not have to agree to receive text messages to book a party, buy admission, join the loyalty program, or use any Skate Waco service.

Message frequency varies. You will receive up to 4 messages per month for marketing, and non-marketing messages as needed for your booking or request. Message and data rates may apply.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the number you receive messages from. After you send "STOP," we will send you one message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive messages from us. To join again, sign up the same way you did the first time or text "START."

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of McLennan County, Texas.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to visit or book with us after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
