Our Learn To Skate program has two parts:

1. Walk-In Class

2. Class Pass System (Three Growth Levels - STAR SKATE 1, 2, & 3)

Walk-In Class

During the Walk-In Class skater will learn:

• How to put on skates

• Balancing on skates

• Falling down and getting up safely

• Rolling forward

• Stopping

WACO LOCATION: SATURDAYS 12:00PM - 1:00PM, THURSDAYS 7:00PM - 8:00PM (Adults Only)

BELLMEAD LOCATION: SATURDAYS 1:00PM - 2:00PM

Class Pass System

The Class Pass has three levels that include a distinct set of skills in each level. Skater will have their own lanyard with the skills for that level on the back. They are encouraged to learn at their own pace, so taking more than 6 class times to get through a level is not uncommon. Once the skate instructor signs off for all the skills in that level, the skater will graduate to the next level and receive a certificate of completion at their mini-graduation.

All Ages Classes are held on Saturdays:

Saturday (Waco Location) 12:00PM - 1:00PM

Adult 18 older Classes are held on Thursdays:

Thursday (Waco Location) 7:00PM - 8:00PM

$50 For 6 Classes (available over an eight week period)

HOCKEY SKILLS CLASS

Hockey Skills Class now available for all ages and skill levels at SKATE WACO BELLMEAD. Learn the basics of Roller Hockey with stick handling skills, passing skills, and shooting skills. Learn to skate classes are available on Saturdays at Skate Waco if you need to touch up on your skate skills before putting a stick in your hands.

All Ages Classes are held on Tuesdays:

Bellmead Location 5:00PM - 7:00PM

$10 Drop In Class

$50 For 6 Classes (available over an eight week period)

Inside Edge Sports Club Card available for dedicated participants

ROLLER DERBY DROP IN

Have you seen our derby team play and though this might be a sport you are interested in trying for yourself? Skaters of all levels can drop in on any practice to learn some pro skills, and the first one is FREE! You don’t need to bring anything and you don’t have to have your own skates. Rental skates and all protective equipment is to loan to you while you are learning how to play.

Mondays at Bellemead: 6:00PM - 8:00PM

Wednesdays at Bellmead: 6:30PM - 8:30PM

First lesson is free. $5 drop in fee (includes skates and gear) for each additional visit.

$50 Monthly membership option available (Provides access to either rink for open session free at any time)
